Organization Overview:  Welcome to the Bhutanese Association of Michigan. We are a community organization committed to supporting the needs of our young and growing community in the state of Michigan. The Bhutanese Association of Michigan was created to form an independent, viable and innovative organization to address the immediate needs of the Bhutanese communities in the state. We are committed to addressing and serving the needs of the community members. These include adult literacy and citizenship classes, cultural events and legal and mental health support for the community. Much of our work has been on a one-on-one basis, such as translation and assistance in filling out paperwork. Currently we are looking for a space that will allow us to better address the needs of the community, such as ESL and citizenship classes, and a gathering space for group events.
