Organization Overview: The fundamental goal of IONA is to assist its member congregations to attain the good pleasure of Allah SWT in order to gain salvation in the hereafter. Consequently, the primary focus of IONA is to help the individual Muslim fulfill the basic duties in the light of the Qur'an and Sunnah. Collectively as an organization IONA is a non-violent movement whose aim is to promote and struggle for the establishment of justice. Interfaith dialogue, civil engagement and active participation in social causes are manifest regularly. There are Sunday school classes for children and summer school also. Adult classes run during the normal school year. There are 5 annual conferences and many other events hosted by IONA.
