Organization Overview:  The primary mission of the Consulate General of Lebanon in Detroit is to promote and safeguard the interest and welfare of Lebanese in its jurisdiction. It is our commitment to provide efficient, thorough and courteous service to all our clients. Among the services offered by the Consulate General are: Issuing passports and processing other forms of travel documents; Providing information in obtaining certified copies of birth, death and marriage certificates from Lebanon; Translation of Lebanese ID Deportation and repatriation; Providing information to Returning Residents; Visas Power of Attorney Letters and Recommendations Military Draft Providing information on the shipment of human remains to Lebanon; Legalization of documents. The Consulate General of Lebanon also has jurisdiction for the following states of the United States of America: Michigan, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Missouri, West Virginia and Kansas.
